Frequently asked questions
Is a signature by link legally valid?
A signature by link is a simple electronic signature (Mexican Commercial Code, articles 89 and 97) and comes with an evidence sheet: stroke, IP, browser, time and the document's SHA-256 fingerprint. It works for approvals and authorizations. For anything that requires an advanced electronic signature, the same flow runs through Mifiel with the e.firma and a NOM-151 certificate.
Does the signer need an account?
No. They receive a link and a one-time code by email; they see the document exactly as it was sent and sign by drawing on the screen, also from a phone.
