What’s new? v4.98 — Suppliers and contracts with a life cycle

A supplier is now a client with a supplier role, and every contract gets its own documents, a clear life cycle, e-signature and a warning before automatic renewal.

v4.98.0 — Suppliers and contracts

A supplier is no longer a separate entity in the inventory: it is a client with a supplier role (or both at once). It shows up as one more filter in Clients, so there is nothing to enter twice and no second directory to maintain.

Contracts with their own documents

Each contract now has its own documents: the signed contract, annexes, quotes. They are stored in the file like any other document and can be linked to the corresponding supplier.

A clear life cycle

A contract moves through explicit states: draft, in review, out for signature, active, renewed and ended. It is sent for signature from the same e-signature screen the rest of the system already uses, with no separate tool.

A heads-up before it is too late

When a contract renews automatically, the system warns you before the cancellation window closes. It is the kind of date nobody remembers and that costs a full year when missed.

This release also includes minor adjustments to the CRM pipeline, the asset image in the inventory and the knowledge graph.
