What’s new? v4.97 — Billing on time and the full sales funnel

Billing alerts had never actually been sent. Now they reach the people who collect, the funnel adds up by stage, and every project can carry its own billing schedule.
v4.97.0 — Billing on time and the full sales funnel
This release started with a conversation with a sales director used to HubSpot. Reviewing his suggestions uncovered something nobody had noticed: billing alerts had never been sent. Neither overdue invoices nor expiring quotes reached anyone, and they were addressed to the salesperson rather than to whoever collects.
Alerts that arrive
They now go to the collections team (or finance, or administrators), as one summary per person instead of one alert per invoice. If you prefer, the salesperson who owns the opportunity can receive them too.
The full funnel
The sales funnel shows the total and weighted value of each stage, without adding pesos to dollars. Opportunities can be recurring (a monthly fee over a term), and a new report separates one-time from recurring revenue, year by year.
Billing schedule per project
Each project can have a billing schedule, by date, by milestone or by percentage of progress, with an alert on the day billing is due. Creating the invoice from the schedule leaves it as a draft for you to review.
Note for those upgrading: after installing this version, collection alerts that never used to go out will start to arrive.
