What’s new? v4.86 — Help shows the video and the assistant reads your case file

The assistant stops answering from the manual when you ask about your case file, Help links each section’s video, and “Analyze with AI” becomes a single door.
v4.86.0 — Help now shows the video, and the assistant stops confusing your case file with the manual
This release has two headline changes, and one matters more than it looks.
The one that matters: the assistant reads your case file, not the manual
Asked “which deadlines are running on this matter?” inside a criminal defense case, the assistant answered from the User Manual instead of reading the hearing minutes right in front of it. It wasn’t the model: the system decided to consult the manual as soon as the question contained “deadline”, “document”, “task”, “case” or “client”, which are exactly the words a firm uses to name its work.
Across ten ordinary case-file questions, four ended up answered from the manual. A bare noun is no longer a signal: the manual now comes in when you ask how something works (“how”, “where”, “can I”, “configure”) or name a part of the product, such as a screen, a tab or the Sheet. After the change: zero out of ten case-file questions misclassified, and all ten usage questions still get the manual.
The visible one: video in Help
Every Help section now offers the video that explains it. It is linked, not embedded, and the card doesn’t fetch the thumbnail: no third-party cookies and no request to anyone each time you open Help. Opening a video is your decision; looking at Help isn’t.
One door instead of four
On a document there were four entries for two functions, with nearly identical names. Now there is a single action, “Analyze with AI”, with two groups labeled by what they return: Ask (an answer in the chat, instantly) and Generate a document (a new file in the firm’s format, in minutes). Templates are sorted by relevance: on a recording, the minutes template comes first.
What moved: “Generate minutes” is no longer a loose menu action; it lives inside that door. What it generates hasn’t changed.
Generating is also no longer just for recordings: you can start from any document that has text and from several at once — compare two contracts, summarize three reports, consolidate two meetings. Each source is labeled by name and they are not mixed; if they don’t all fit whole, as little as possible is trimmed and you are told which. Anything left out for lacking text is named before generating.
And a composition now shows it is working: it used to take minutes with no sign of life, so people who saw nothing launched it again and ended up with twin documents. Progress now appears in the dialog, and the server rejects the second attempt, saying since when the first one has been running.
HR stops being a notebook
Each employee requests their own vacation and sees their balance under Mexican labor law (LFT); their manager approves from an inbox without needing to edit the whole staff, and nobody approves their own absences, not even an administrator. An approved absence reduces capacity in the workload map: whoever is away keeps their tasks, so that week turns red — exactly the signal you need to see.
