What’s new? v4.94 — An inventory up to the job for an IT department

We asked whether the inventory was enough for a mid-sized IT department, and the honest answer was no. It now sends email alerts, encrypts license keys, imports from Excel and links to tickets.
v4.94.0 — An inventory up to the job for an IT department
We asked whether the Inventory was enough for a mid-sized IT department, and the honest answer was no. This release closes that gap.
Alerts that actually arrive
The daily checks on warranties, licenses and stock were already running, but they notified no one. Now they send an email, once per person, without repeating the same alert.
License keys under lock
License keys are stored encrypted and shown only to those who can manage them, with a record of who viewed them.
Import from Excel or CSV
The inventory can be imported from Excel or CSV, with a dry-run simulation first so you can see what would change before applying it.
Who holds each seat
You can now tell which seat of each license is held by whom.
Tickets linked to the asset
Support tickets can be linked to the asset they are about, so a device’s history stays in view.
