Free Iurefficient apps

Five free, open-source tools that work with your instance, or on their own: transcribe meetings without the audio leaving your computer, edit documents, keep your case files as just another folder, turn scans into searchable PDFs and build your network inventory. Windows, macOS and Linux.

Local transcription

IureTranscribe …

Transcribe meetings, audio and video on your own computer with Whisper. The audio never leaves it.

  • Records the microphone and the video-call audio and transcribes live, telling who spoke.
  • Summary and minutes with your instance's engine, or with Claude and Copilot (MCP), no OpenRouter key needed.
  • Custom vocabulary and corrections: your clients' names, spelled right.
  • Saves to the case or client and turns commitments into tasks.
Documents

iureditor …

A visual Markdown editor: write as in a word processor and save clean Markdown.

  • Live Mermaid diagrams and LaTeX math, footnotes and a table of contents.
  • Exports to PDF, DOCX (Word) and HTML.
  • Opens a case's documents and uploads a new version when you save.
  • Receives IureTranscribe's minutes or summary in one click.
Network drive

IureDav …

Mount your instance's documents, or any WebDAV server, as a drive on your computer.

  • Tests what the server really supports before mounting and explains what can't be done.
  • Offline folders and access from the system tray.
  • Every save on the drive creates a new version in Iurefficient.
OCR and PDF

IureOCR …

Turns scans and photos of documents into searchable PDFs, on your own computer.

  • Local OCR with Tesseract in Spanish and English: neither the document nor the text leaves your computer.
  • Page viewer and editing: rotate, remove, keep only some and reorder.
  • Saves straight to the case, and works from Claude or Copilot (MCP).
IT inventory

iureTI …

A probe that discovers the devices on your network (PCs, servers, switches, printers, access points) and feeds the Iurefficient inventory.

  • SNMP, mDNS, NetBIOS and UPnP, with automatic classification and optional product lookup on the internet.
  • Local web interface and command line; installs as a service on Debian, Ubuntu or Raspberry Pi.
  • Also as a Docker image for amd64 and arm64.
Install as a service (Linux, amd64 or arm64):
curl -fsSL https://github.com/ellaguno/iureTI/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sudo sh -s -- \
--url https://YOUR-INSTANCE.iurefficient.com --token iurprobe_… --site "Main office"
Or with Docker:
docker run -d --name iureti --network host --restart unless-stopped \
  -v iureti-data:/data ghcr.io/ellaguno/iureti:latest

They are all free and open source (Apache 2.0 license) and work without an account; to save to your instance, sign in with your Iurefficient account. The Windows and macOS installers aren't code-signed yet: the first time, on Windows choose More info → Run anyway; on macOS, right-click the app → Open.

They work together

One Iurefficient account and the system keychain: sign in once and every app shares it.

Transcribe and save to the case

IureTranscribe uploads the transcript to the case or client, drafts the minutes in the firm's formats and turns commitments into tasks.

Edit and publish

"Open with iureditor" from IureTranscribe; iureditor opens the case's documents and uploads a version when you save.

Everything as a drive

With IureDav mounted, IureTranscribe and IureOCR offer the case folder as destination and your other programs see case files as files.

From your AI assistant

IureTranscribe and IureOCR work as MCP servers: Claude, Copilot and other assistants transcribe and run OCR on your computer, without uploading the audio or the document.

Links between apps and the web

iuretranscribe://, iureditor://, iuredav:// and iureocr:// open one app from another or from the instance, e.g. "Transcribe this audio".

They update themselves

Each app tells you about new versions and installs them from within the app, with signed updates.

No account to start

Transcribing, editing, mounting and OCR work without an account; the integration switches on when you sign in to your instance.

In English and Spanish

The interface follows the system language and can be changed at any time.

Don't have Iurefficient yet?

The apps are free; the Iurefficient instance is what understands each case from its file.
